Comic-in-chief Obama hijacks Colbert’s show, pretends to mock himself mercilessly

Does this guy take anything about his job seriously?

President Obama conducted a pre-planned hijacking of Stephen Colbert’s “The Colbert Report” Monday night and proved that he’s much better at comedy than being president.

But we knew that.

“Stephen, you’ve been taking a lot of shots at my job, so I’m taking a shot at yours,” Obama barged on to the set saying. “How hard can this be? I’m just going to say whatever you say.”

The president immediately mocked the American people by replacing the show’s signature segment  “The Word,” with the “The Decree.”

“I, Stephen Colbert,  have never cared for our president,” Obama said, pretending to be Colbert’s conservative alter-ego. “The guy is so arrogant, I bet he talks about himself in the third person.”

Obama read an anti-Obamacare rant in Colbert’s character and to make the schtick funny, sarcastic digs popped up on the screen as he spoke:

“He could try to appeal to them through a speech or a press conference,” he said about young people and Obamacare, “but young people don’t watch real news shows like this one.” ( Caption: “Or Fake Ones Like Fox.”)

Obama said. “They watch comedy shows, and I just don’t see the president going on one of those. They are beneath his dignity.” (Caption: “But Above His Approval Rating.”)

Later in the show, Colbert did an interview with the president while the comedian host was in his faux conservative character.

Referring to the power-hungry leader as “Baracus Maximus I,”  Colbert asked  when Obama decided to “burn the Constitution,” to declare executive actions on things like immigration reform.

Pause for a moment and count to 10 before you react to the unbelievably insulting arrogance in this whole thing. Watch at your own risk.
