“Challenger,” a 25-year-old bald eagle, soars over NGR Stadium in Houston while the Star-Spangled Banner plays right before the beginning of an NFL game.
A camera was strapped on Challenger’s back to show the magnificence of America’s national bird in flight.
Challenger, who was hand fed when he was a little baby bird, can’t be re-released into the wild. He’s become an “ambassador” for the bald eagles, and seeing the world through his eyes is pretty spectacular.
