The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People is catching plenty of heat for ignoring the historic outcome of two elections on Tuesday that involved black Americans.
Mia Love became the first black Republican woman to be elected to Congress on Tuesday, and U.S. Sen. Tim Scott, R-S.C., is the first black senator to win an election in the South since Reconstruction.
Twitter users were quick to note that the NAACP is discriminating against black Republicans in no less a manner that they those behind the organization were once discriminated against.
