‘That broad took my leg!’ What drunk football fan does to disabled Vietnam vet is dispicable

A Philadelphia street performer who’s become a fixture outside the city’s professional sports games found himself without a leg to stand on after a drunken fan ran off with his prosthetic limb during an Eagles game late Sunday.

But he was back on his feet by morning.

One woman in her 20s – clearly inebriated Forriest says – sat on his lap and broke his microphone, Forriest told ABC.

“She said, ‘I will pay you for it.’ I said, ‘That’s all right baby go ahead and have a good time,’ and then she disappeared,” said Forriest.

The next thing Forriest saw was the same woman running between parked cars. She was still drunk, of course, except now she was drunk and carrying the prosthetic leg Forriest had taken off to rest.

“That broad took my leg,” Forriest told WCAU, the NBC station.

That was the last he saw of her.

Fortunately, it’s not the end of the story. Forriest’s fake leg was eventually found at a public transportation stop, and Forriest got it back from police by Monday morning.

TV reports say police are reviewing surveillance video from the area it was found to see who might have left the leg behind, but Forriest told the local CBS station an arrest isn’t what the woman needs.

“She needs to go ahead and use brain for more than just a beer bottle or a liquor bottle,” he said.

Hear, hear.
