Kentucky Democratic Senate candidate Alison Lundergan Grimes repeatedly refused to say whether she voted for Barack Obama in an editorial board interview Thursday.
“I’m a Clinton Democrat through and through,” she offered, hoping to dodge the question.
“I respect the sanctity of the ballot box, and I know the members of this editorial board do as well,” Grimes said.
“So you’re not going to answer?” she was asked.
“Again, I don’t think that the president is on the ballot, as much as Mitch McConnell might want him to be,” Grimes said. “It’s my name, and it’s going to be me who’s holding him accountable for the failed decisions and votes that he has made against the people of Kentucky.”
She refused to answer the question four times in the interview , and again dodged the question when asked by a reporter.
Grimes staffers recently revealed that she is lying about her support for the coal industry in Kentucky, while one donor said she was going to “fu**” the coal industry, according to The Washington Free Beacon.
