Most people have mixed feelings when it comes making jokes about serious subjects – particularly deadly ones. Just ask Gilbert Gottfried.
A Houston Texans fan dressed up in a Hazmat suit Saturday and carried a sign reading, “We ain’t taking nothing back to Houston except a Texan win.”
Dallas Cowboy and Houston Texans fans can duke that one out on their own, but it was a sign the Jacksonville Jaguar’s mascot carried at Sunday’s game against Pittsburgh – mocking the Steelers’ fans “Terrible Towels” – that had critics really riled up.
“Ebola humor” was criticized as going way too far when Jaxon de Ville carried a sign that read, “Towels carry Ebola.”

The Cowboys aren’t worried about Ebola because they don’t usually catch anything anyway

How classless do you have to be when referencing Ebola and Terrible Towel together? Leave it to Jacksonville and their mascot. #Ignorance

Can we talk about how ridiculous and inappropriate the Jaguars’ mascot’s “Towels Carry Ebola” sign (with a Terrible Towel) was today?

Whoever came up with the Ebola Towel joke in #Jacksonville should be fired. On the spot.

@RonnieKRadio you gonna call for SNL to be cancelled as well? They did a skit on Ebola too.
