‘He’s alive!’ ABC captures moment ‘dead’ Ebola victim, wrapped by burial squad, moves his arm

“He’s alive!”

A man covered in a sheet, thought to be dead on the roadside, surprised the crowd and news crew when he moved his hand as a burial squad was taking him away.

The ABC team was shooting a segment for “Good Morning America” about the deadly Ebola outbreak in Monrovia, Liberia. The crowds erupted in cheers at the miracle.

Most of the outbreaks in the area result in death because nobody helps the sick in time, according to ABC.
