A new ad campaign has been launched to remind everyone that Republicans are people too.
The video, produced by former Mitt Romney ad man, Vinny Minchillo, informs people that Republicans – gasp! – drive Priuses, read the New York Times and even shop at Trader Joe’s.
Minchillo set up a website, a Facebook page and Twitter page to promote the new campaign.
“It isn’t easy being a Republican these days,” the website says.
The Twitter feed encourages people to share their story, such as these:
Republicans are passionate about all kinds of social issues. Take a pic and tell us what moves you. #ImARepublican pic.twitter.com/R9dPSoJDSS

By the way, Republicans also have tattoos — and beards.
