Pelosi’s big lie: ‘It takes a special breed of idiot’

Nancy Pelosi, the lying liberal from San Francisco, holds the Nazi “Big Lie” belief that if you tell a lie often enough, people will believe it.

nancypelosi0916newThat’s the only reason she could have gone with an old whopper in a whining interview with MSNBC boy anchor Ronan Farrow on Monday when she complained about the Republican opposition party that “we never treated President Bush the way they treat President Obama.”

Republicans treat Obama worse than Democrats treated Bush?

It’s understandable that Farrow didn’t question the claim, considering he was probably watching “SpongeBob SquarePants” during most of the Bush years — and he’s a liberal to boot. But adults know what a lie that is.

Peloi’s made the same infuriating, history-denying claim before, but it deserves to be called out again.

And Twitter users  are happy to oblige, including Chet Cannon, the “hipster Mormon” star of MTV’s “Real World in 2009. (Imagine what kind of world Pelosi must be living in!)

If anything, congressional Republicans have treated Obama with kid gloves compared to the viciousness of Pelosi’s radical left during the Bush administration from the moment the Supreme Court stopped their attempts to steal the election for Al Gore.

How about Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid? Reid spent years calling Bush a “liar” and a “loser,” creating a relationship the New York Times described as venomous in a December 2007 article, noting that it had been almost a century since a Senate majority lead had “appeared to harbor such deep and utter disdain, even loathing, for a president.”

Or how about Pelosi herself? She considered it witty to say things like “the emperor has no clothes” when talking about the then-commander in chief’s Iraq policy (a model of consistency compared to the current chaos).

So Pelosi’s a liar – but she’s the kind of liar who only tells the truth by accident. That came later in her comments to Farrow, when she said, “Most people don’t even know there’s a midterm election.”

In that respect she was right, since knowing about things like midterm elections requires knowing a little more about how the country works than what they hear from late-night comics.

Which party has “most people” not knowing what a mid-term election is? Same party that had voters that didn’t know what a presidential election was until a black guy was running.
