Police have arrested a man allegedly involved in a racially motivated incident Monday in New York City where a woman was shot in the back of the head with a pellet gun.
In a rarity with black-on-white crime, the 20-year-old man has been charged with a hate crime.
Edward Fall was arrested on Saturday and charged with assault, reckless endangerment and criminal possession of a weapon as part of a hate crime, according to The New York Post.
The Post reported that there was a second incident, both involving a group of black suspects targeting white joggers in Central Park.
