A Biblical “plague of locusts” has settled on Madagascar, an island country off the coast of southeast Africa, but the locals don’t seem to mind.
Millions of the insects invaded the country’s capital of Antananarivo, ABC News reported Friday.

The “plague” began in 2012, causing a national disaster declaration, the network reported.
Locusts can eat their own weight in plants each day. A swarm can be 460 square miles in size and consist of between 40 and 80 million insects, according to National Geographic.
