Priorities: Three reps to Brown funeral, none to memorial mass for journalist Foley

Reverend Jeremiah Wright’s protegé demonstrated again that he learned his lessons well.

The President of the United States, who represents all the people, sent three of his representatives to Michael Brown’s funeral in Ferguson, Missouri on Monday, and none to James Foley’s Memorial Mass in Rochester, New Hampshire on Sunday, according to CNSNews.

Exactly what the racist-baiting, white-demeaning pastor would have advised.

According to the Associated Press, Obama sent Broderick Johnson, Marlon Marshall and Heather Foster from his team to attend the funeral of the 18-year-old, strong-arm robbery suspect who allegedly punched Police Officer Darren Wilson in the face, while no one represented him at the Memorial Mass for the 40-year-old humanitarian, global photo-journalist.

“There was nobody that represented the White House,” said Connie Hammond, administrative assistant at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary. She told CNS that all the dignitaries had called ahead save one, and that they all sat together.

This was confirmed by Tom Bobbington, director of communications for the Roman Catholic Diocese of Manchester, N.H., who said no White House officials were present.

Even Pope Francis sent a letter of condolences to the Foley family, which was read during the service.

When questioned why the president did not see fit to be represented at this brave American’s funeral, National Security Council spokesman Ned Price replied, “The president expressed his profound condolences to the family in his statement last week.”

So profound, in fact, that he was smiling with his buddies on the golf course eight minutes later.

Rev. Wright was probably smiling, too.
