Rick Santorum, the former senator whose long-shot bid for the Republican nomination in 2012 showed he wouldn’t back away from a fight, had the odds stacked against him again on Sunday’s “Meet the Press.”
He didn’t back down this time either.
Alone among a panel of liberal pundits, Santorum had the facts at hand – and the passion in his heart – to carry the day against the usual flaccid arguments the libs put up for a soft line on immigration.
As impressive as Santorum’s fireworks are, what’s really depressing is that a program called “Meet the Press” is staffed with such blatant propagandists for the president.
Their defensiveness is disgusting, but Santorum makes it worth watching – no matter who you were backing in the primary race.
