The San Francisco 49ers’ brash, young quarterback just added a new tattoo to his collection, proclaiming for all the world that “Money is the root of all evil.”
After signing a six-year, $126 million contract with the team, Colin Kaepernick decided to celebrate with some new body art, TMZ reported.
The tattoo portrays an arm extending upward and holding an apple in its hand, surrounded by $100 bills at its base and a snake wrapping around the wrist. Reminiscent of the biblical illustration of Adam and Eve’s epic confrontation with the snake, Kaepernick’s tattoo has money representing “the root of all evil,” according to the inscription.
Kaepernick took to Instragram on Monday to share a photo of his new artwork, saying, “Money is the root of all evil! Amazing work by @carlostorresart #WhatWouldYouDoForSomePaper #WhatAreYouReallyAbout.”
