Conservative actor Kelsey Grammer joined Twitter Monday and it didn’t take long for him to find a way to be useful – by correcting the grammar of Twitter users.
Grammer announced his intentions with this tweet:
It has come to my attention that the fine people of @Twitter have an egregious grammar problem. I’m here to help. #KelseyGrammerGrammar

A familiar name stopped by to welcome Grammer to Twitter, tweeting this:

Soon the hashtag, #KelseyGrammerGrammar, was born and users have responded enthusiastically to his Frasier-like advice on the content of their tweets. Grammer got right to work, offering corrections to these fans:
