President Obama delivered remarks in the Rose Garden on Monday admonishing Congress for failure to pass comprehensive immigration reform, vowing to do what he can on his own.
The media was quick to share the official news, such as this AP tweet:
WASHINGTON (AP) _ White House: Boehner won’t set immigration vote this year; Obama to pursue changes on his own.

Some of Obama’s speech was relayed by Zeke Miller in these tweets:
Obama says if House GOP is unhappy with his executive actions: “The best solution to that is passing bills”

Obama: I don’t prefer taking administration action. I would love nothing more than bipartisan legislation to pass the House and the Senate.

Simply chilling. We don’t have a president. Effectively we have a soft dictatorship. They target political enemies and act unilaterally.

“Then don’t.” — America. RT @DavidMDrucker: “I don’t prefer taking administrative action.” @BarackObama
