Media mogul Oprah Winfrey is not as crazy about the Obamas as they would have most people believe, according to best-selling author Edward Klein.
In his latest book, “Blood Feud: The Clintons vs. the Obamas,” Klein concluded that “Oprah feels slighted by the Obamas,” and quoted a friend of Winfrey who said that the Obamas “have been incredibly thoughtless in the way they have treated her,” the Washington Examiner reported.
Klein described the first lady and top aide Valerie Jarrett as being needy, quoting Winfrey as saying:
“Being with them over a period of time can be tiresome.”
“They’re always badgering you for something. I’ve spent much of my life fending off powerful and not-so-powerful people who want things from me. But these two women are something else again. They’re walking agendas. Their wish list never stops.”
On the other hand, Klein wrote that Oprah would do anything for Bill and Hillary Clinton, with Winfrey saying this of the Clintons:
“I have a much warmer relationship with Hillary than I do with either Michelle or Barack. The Clintons make me feel at ease 100 percent of the time. But even when the Obamas think they are being charming, they hold you at arm’s length. They make me jumpy, even when the obviously don’t mean to.”
Klein quoted a Clinton insider who said Bill and Hillary have spoken with Winfrey about a possible 2016 endorsement, and that the Clintons think “her support is worth a million votes, and maybe more.”
While Klein said Winfrey is open to endorsing Clinton, Vice President Joe Biden has been wooing her also, just in case he decides to make a run for the White House in 2016.
