‘Smashed into 1,000 pieces’: Twitter abuzz on what became of Lois Lerner’s smartphone

Internal Revenue Service Commissioner John Koskinen went before the House Ways and Means Committee on Friday to explain how the agency lost two years of emails from Lois Lerner, the key figure in the investigation into the agency targeting tea party groups for additional scrutiny.

At one point, U.S. Rep. Tom Price, R-Ga., asked Koskinen whether Lerner had a BlackBerry or an I-Phone for emails — the commissioner said he didn’t know, but would find out.

So much for coming prepared.
