White House press secretary Jay Carney on Wednesday finished his stint as the administration’s mouthpiece in true rock star fashion.
As the media waited for Carney, the sound of Guided By Voices’ “Motor Away” blared through the speakers of the briefing room.
Carney is a fan of Guided By Voices, and even introduced the band at a Washington concert a month ago, according to Daily Surge.
