Conservative author Dinesh D’Souza baffled host Megyn Kelly when he tried to explain how he sees President Obama’s view of America.
He’s like a kid who sees his dad “as a kind of serial killer or child molester,” D’Souza said Monday on “The Kelly File.”
“I would still love him,” he continued in this analogy. “He would still be part of my family, but I would do everything I could to prevent him from doing evil actions.”
Obama believed “he was doing the world a favor,” D’Souza said, “and America a favor, by controlling this rogue elephant that is the United States.”
“So America is the child molester in this scenario?” Kelly asked, visibly thrown by this theory. “I’m just trying to follow Dinesh. I think we may have jumped off the deep end,” she said in good humor.
“Obama came out of a generation unlike any other, that believed in American exceptionalism,” D’Souza said, but “instead of believing that we were exceptionally good, they believe we’re exceptionally evil.”
