Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton proved Sunday that her views of the world remain restricted to the elitist bubble that defines her life.
Appearing on “CBS Sunday,” host Jane Pauley asked Clinton to comment on a likely female candidate for the 2016 presidential election.
“Politics is so unpredictable,” Clinton replied. “Whoever runs has to recognize that the American political system is probably the most difficult, even brutal, in the world.”
The Daily Caller noted that Washington Post reporter Ed O’Keefe tweeted a reference to two female politicians who experienced far more brutality, asking: “Would Indira Gandhi and Benazir Bhutto agree?”
Both women were assassinated in their respective countries; India and Pakistan.
Clinton is continuing the prerequisite book tour as the likely 2016 Democratic presidential nominee.
