The climate-change crackpots hung another dissenting scientist out to dry, a mere 48 hours after he published an op-ed in The Wall Street Journal.
The Institute for Policy Studies informed Dr. Caleb Rossiter by email – such class! – that he had been fired for daring to disagree with a tenet of the organization’s bedrock platform, according to Breitbart.
The former Democratic congressional candidate and founder of Demilitarization for Democracy had written that man-made global warming was “an unproven science” in the opinion piece, “Sacrificing Africa for Climate Change.”
Rossiter argued that environmentalists were counterproductive in their strenuous efforts to prevent developing African nations from employing a mixed bag of energy resources – including fossil fuels, which are common in the United States.

“The left wants to stop industrialization – even if the hypothesis of catastrophic man-made global warming is false,” he wrote in The Journal, decrying liberals’ insistence that Africa rely strictly on costly wind and solar power sources.
His heretical comments brought the full force of the Institute for Policy Studies’ wrath.
“We would like to inform you that we are terminating your position as an Associate Fellow of the Institute for Policy Studies,” institute officials wrote to Rossiter, according to Breitbart. “Unfortunately, your views … diverge from ours.”
Rossiter, an adjunct professor at American University, told Climate Depot that fears of censorship over dissenting climate-change views are not overblown. The Institute of Policy Studies terminated its 23-year relationship with Rossiter within two days of The Wall Street Journal publication, he pointed out.
