House Majority Leader Eric Cantor lost his GOP Virginia primary race to economics professor and political newcomer Dave Brat on Tuesday. It was a shock to most of the country and a possible warning to the GOP. In the final tally, Brat won 56 percent of the vote, compared to 44 percent for Cantor, Fox reported.
