With little regard for political correctness, pastors are being asked to denounce same-sex marriage from the pulpit this Sunday.
In response to recent court rulings that overturned same-sex marriage bans in Oregon and Pennsylvania, the American Pastors Network is urging pastors to support traditional marriage on Sunday, June 1st, according to CNS News.
Network president Sam Rohrera said “this flagrant and arrogant attack on God-ordained marriage and on the freedom of all Americans demands a response.”

In a press release Tuesday, Rohrera spoke about the “effort to declare God’s definition of marriage unconstitutional and to censor individuals and states that dare to proclaim belief in God-ordained marriage.”
“Our nation will not escape judgment simply because we are ‘America,'” the former Pennsylvania state representative said. “God will not be mocked, and these are the sins that God will judge.”
Rohrera told CNS News pastors have the “duty and…responsibility to teach their people about civic freedom…as well as the spiritual…as our founding pastors did in this country.”
He also spoke out on the judicial activism that seeks to redefine marriage.
“The judges making these rulings are making themselves the rule of law, throwing out higher moral law and totally disregarding higher civil law, which is our Constitution,” Rohrera said. “That is tyranny and that is dangerous.”
