Census results the Democrats want buried, exposed by Progressives Today

That income inequality the Democrats are always prattling about might as well be the Democratic Party itself.

At least as far as Congress is concerned.

Middle class Americans prefer Republican representatives in Congress by a ratio of almost 2 to 1, according to Census figures compiled by Progressives Today, an online project by the founders of EAG News and the Gateway Pundit, two of the country’s most reliably conservative websites.

In a report published Wednesday, the website showed that not only are most of the richest congressional districts in the United States represented by Democrats – eight out of 10, according to an Associated Press dispatch in March – but the vast majority of the poorest – 36 of 39 represented by Democrats, too.

That leaves the vast majority of middle class congressional districts in the the country represented by Republicans – 225 to 152, according to Progressives Today.

In the March AP report of the 10 wealthiest districts based on Census figures from 2012, Democrats were found to represent sopping rich liberal bastions on the coasts such as Nancy Pelosi’s tony San Francisco district and Carolyn Maloney’s territory in New York City’s Upper East Side.)

(The top 20 counties also included areas of Virginia and Maryland, where highly paid government officials and the rent-seeking detritus of Democratic rule tend to congregate. In the top 10,)

Per capita income in the top 10 districts ranged from $46,636 to $72,155. That’s per capita – the means there are a lot of rich young world-beaters toddling about on play dates.

Meanwhile, at the other end of the ranch, per capita income in crushingly poor congressional districts surveyed by Progressives Today ranged from $11,515 to $18,464. That means there an awful lot of grown men with a lot of time on their hands and no money in their pockets.

The one thing both ends of the scale have in common? They have Democratic congressmen and women. One group has done dined on to its hearts’ content under the Obama kleptocracy and knows where its bread is buttered. The other hasn’t improved its lot at all in the past five years yet remains fanatically loyal to a party that feeds it crumbs from America’s table.

In between are the remaining congressional seats, represented by nearly 2 to 1 by Republicans, presumably because voting-age residents of those areas know full well what party knows how to make a payroll, that real economic growth is in small businesses, and will never look at an entrepreneur and sneer, “you didn’t build that.”

Which party represents the middle class in American politics?

Cut through the rhetoric and most conservatives won’t be surprised by the answer.
