‘Lone Survivor’ Marcus Luttrell offers best ever solution to VA scandal

Former Navy SEAL Marcus Luttrell shared the couch Wednesday with the “Fox and Friends” crew and offered his take on the Veterans Administration health care scandal, to include a simple fix to the problem.

Luttrell, author of the book Lone Survivor,” his personal account of a mission gone horribly awry in the mountains of Afghanistan, suggested that if “Senators … had to go for their VA to get care, it would probably get fixed.”

The real-life lone survivor also said a voucher program should be in place for combat veterans that would allow them to seek care in the private healthcare system as an alternative to the VA.
