The Dallas morning show co-host who stormed off the set explained Thursday why she was so outraged over the Michael Sam kiss debate and revealed threats she has received.
Amy Kushnir told “The Kelly File” fill-in host Shannon Bream she thought airing the kiss was inappropriate.
“It was over the top,” Kushnir said. “ESPN used it as an opportunity to put out a shocking video, when ESPN is a sports network… So it bothered me that they used the opportunity to promote their left-wing agenda.”
Those who maintain traditional values in their home will be lambasted if they share their views with others, she said, adding that she has taken a lot of heat on social media lately.
“It’s insane,” Kushnir said, referring to the death threats, rape threats and petitions to be fired that she has received since the show aired.
