If Obamacare is such a resounding success – as the Obama administration declares – Jimmy Fallon didn’t get the memo.
Fallon ridiculed the Affordable Care Act more than once on NBC’s “Tonight Show” Monday, including a scathing joke about the deadline.
“This Thursday is the deadline for Iran to meet a series of measures to delay its nuclear program,” Fallon said. “Yea and then Iran said, ‘You mean deadline, deadline? Or sign up for Obamacare deadline? Because that thing had extensions — it was like a long deadline. I mean, that thing had more extensions than ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta.’”
Fallon took another shot at Obamacare with a reference to Dr. Dre’s pending billion-dollar sale of Beats Electronics to Apple.
“That’s right, Dr. Dre got $3 billion from Apple,” Fallon said. “He’s actually the first doctor to make any money since Obamacare passed.”
