‘Goodbye, Mama’: Young tornado victim’s precious text just before he was killed

An Arkansas mom whose son was in the direct path of an EF-4 tornado on April 27th will forever cherish his last-second final farewell, Fox 24 News reported.

Regina Woods’ son Jeffrey knew he was in dire straits 20 miles away at Vilonia, with the monster funnel bearing right down on the little town.

“First, he said, Mama, I’m so scared,” said Woods.

She could only try to reassure him, but they both knew it was going to be a direct hit, Fox 24 News reported.

In one final act of love, Jeffrey gave his mother something precious. His text to her in the midst of his fear read “Goodbye, Mama.”

Jeffrey Hunter was a senior at UCLA.
