Not long after he appeared on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” to poke fun at California, calling it a “socialist” state, funnyman Tim Allen began probing for answers to life’s tougher questions last week when he asked, “How does taxing high-income people help the middle class succeed?”
Allen makes his living as an entertainer, but the question seemed deliberate and restrained, much like the thought-provoking follow-up that came after one response caught his attention:
@ofctimallen That is not the purpose, it is about equal stuff in everybody’s house. Remember, at a certain point, U have made enough money!

@hillplus Who decides when one has made enough money.
— Tim Allen (@ofctimallen) April 27, 2014
I’m pretty sure the question was rhetorical, but there were some pretty good answers nonetheless.
@ofctimallen Pretty sure that is above my pay grade. 😉

“@hillplus: @ofctimallen In all seriousness, I am sure we can both agree, decision is best left in the hands of the individual.” Not Govt!

.@ofctimallen when i type your name and Google autocompletes with “car collection” I think that is a good indicator.

@hillplus @Rightside2beon @ofctimallen After he’s made enough, should he drop out, lay around eating potato ships or work for free? Choices.

@Rightside2beon @ofctimallen Well, as we all know, you didn’t build that, somebody else made that happen. Includes your career, Tim!!
