After the ad’s launch, tea party candidate J.D. Winteregg was fired from his position as adjunct professor at Cedarville University in Ohio, The Daily Caller said in an exclusive report.

Winteregg’s popular Internet parody mocked erectile dysfunction ads and said it aimed to help voters with their “electile dysfunction.”

Many in the political establishment warned Winteregg that he would never work again when he began his campaign to replace Boehner, according to The Caller.

Winteregg and Boehner, who was first elected to Congress in 1990, will face off  in the Republican primary on May 6.
