A father in Florida may face charges of child abuse after he was captured on video kicking his son down a skateboard ramp, then walking away.
The disturbing scene depicts a young child standing on the edge of a half pipe at Kona Skate Park, in Jacksonville, Fla., according to WJXT-TV.

A man identified by the park as Marcus Crossland is seen in the Instagram video stepping behind his son, who was seemingly hesitant to go down a steep drop off, and kick him off the edge. The child, a regular at the skate park, can be heard crying out in pain at the end of the fall.
The park told the network that it first learned of the incident Friday.
WJXT reported that the Florida Department of Children and Families was not aware of the matter, but did say it would like to contact Crossland.
Amid a lot of negative attention, the Instagram video is a good example of the benefits social media can deliver.
