Laughing stock: Major blunder makes Bloomberg’s latest anti-gun effort look stupid

bulletAnyone familiar with the assassination of President John F. Kennedy has heard about the “pristine bullet” found on a gurney in the corridor at Parkland Hospital in Dallas, Texas.

But a photo advertising Michael Bloomberg‘s latest gun control endeavor has taken pristine to a whole other level.

The photo, posted Sunday on Facebook, draws attention to Bloomberg’s new organization, “Everytown for Gun Safety,” and depicts a bullet being shot out of the barrel of a gun, according to The Blaze.

“Who is faster than a speeding bullet?” the photo caption reads. “Nobody.”

Showcasing an ignorance of firearms, the photo makes a major blunder — the bullet emerges from the barrel with its shell casing intact!

his wife: ‘Damn the career consequences!’

The Blaze did note that it’s not entirely clear if the page the photo was posted on is controlled by the Everytown group, but the image lists an accurate web address to their Facebook page.

And Bloomberg can’t figure out why his previous gun control efforts have been met with such limited success?

The error quickly found its way to Twitter, as seen in this tweet:

Needing little excuse to pounce, others quickly joined in the fun:
