Who exactly is fighting this “war on women”?
The Obamabots at Organizing for Action hit a new low even by their standards with a mass fundraising email last week to push Obamacare’s idea of “health reform” by featuring Ted Kennedy.
You might remember him as the late senator best remembered for leaving a campaign aide to drown in tidal channel, while cold-bloodedly deciding to save his own political career at the cost of saving a young woman’s life.

Twitter users certainly remember him that way.
@JayCaruso@KatiePavlich Wow. I would say unbelievable, but seeing who sent it out…

Wonder how many OFA voters will say, “Ted Kennedy did what to a woman?” *Wd make a great Watter’s World Q&A. @KatiePavlich @EWErickson

For the uninformed, which apparently includes the research staff of Organizing for America, Kennedy was with a young woman named Mary Jo Kopechne after a party on Chappaquiddick Island, Mass., when the car Kennedy was driving plunged off a bridge into the water.
Kennedy survived, and got a two-month suspended sentence for leaving the scene of an accident. Kopechne, of course, did not. She received a permanent funeral.
For normal people, and an honest political party, that kind of record would mean the guy was at least maybe not welcome at all the best tables anymore.
But Kennedys aren’t normal people, and Democrats aren’t a normal political party. To Democrats, Republicans who oppose forcing businesses to pay for women’s birth control are engaged in a “war on women.” But Democrat men with enough money and the right family name are perfectly acceptable even if they have a record of leaving women trapped in cars under water until the life is extinguished from their bodies.
They mean well, after all.
@KatiePavlich Not sure if leaving your girlfriend at the bottom of a river, swimming to a phone and calling a LAWYER, constitutes a war? — john callow (@CallowJ) April 19, 2014
@TiredOfTyranny@KatiePavlich I’m waiting for their email on marriage loyalty with Bill Clinton and another on honesty with Barack Obama.

It’s not really fair to single Ted Kennedy out, though. He was only taking his family’s male opinion of women to its logical conclusion — from the serial philandering of his brothers to the continued cavorting of his nephews that included a nationally televised trial on a rape charge for an incident that took place after a night of drinking with Uncle Ted on Good Friday in 1991.
And let’s not forget JFK Jr.’s ill-fated plane trip that killed his wife and his sister-in-law. Even when there’s no booze involved, Kennedy men are recklessly, fatally, dangerous around the fairer sex.
Whatever the Democrat Party might accuse Republicans of, the Kennedy men are a “war on women” unto themselves.
But they’re wealthy, they have all the right opinions, and to liberals, they’re gods.
Which brings up another serial philanderer with a spouse who could be running for president in two years …

Paula who?
Being a liberal means never having to say you’re sorry.
