An animal rights organization has a serious problem with first lady Michelle Obama’s plans to continue the White House tradition of hosting an Easter egg roll on April 21.
In its video message to her, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, or PETA, expresses its disappointment that she will be using real eggs for the he 126th running of the annual event. And in order to get its message across, it enlisted the aid of three adorable girls.
“Just because all other first ladies have done it doesn’t mean you have to,” one girl in the video, titled “”Michelle, We Need to Talk,” says. “If all other first ladies jumped off a bridge would you? Put yourself in their [chickens] shoes. I don’t care who started it. You’re ending it.”
I have more than one bone to pick with the first lady — this isn’t one of them.
Watch the video via PETA, then check out “Woot! Rachel Maddow gets shown her place when she tries to insult Ann Coulter.”
