A man hoping to take a “selfie” with an oncoming train in the background got a greater “kick” out of the effort than he bargained for.
Jared Michael posted a video of the incident on his YouTube account, along with this commentary:
I tried to take a selfie while a train passed a “safe” distance behind. I guess I was still too close and got kicked in the head. I messed up.
A seen in the video, Michael was close enough for the train’s engineer to send a not so subtle message. It gives a whole new meaning to the old AT&T slogan “reach out and touch someone.”

And despite getting walloped in the head, Michael seemed pretty excited that he captured it on video.
“Wow, that guy just kicked me in the head!” he can be heard saying. “I think I got that on film!”
