A young Irish couple was twice-blessed recently when they were simultaneously united in holy matrimony and surprised with a magnificent, pitch-perfect rendition of the popular “Hallelujah” by the parish priest during the ceremony.
Father Ray Kelly adapted the song’s lyrics for Chris and Leah O’Kane’s marriage ceremony at Oldcastle, Meath in Ireland, according to the Daily Mail.
During the performance, both bride and bridesmaids can be seen wiping tears from their eyes.
Kelly is a member of Dublin’s “The All Priests Show, has performed in the United States and is thought to be considering the release of a charity album, the Mail reported.
At the close of the song, he’s given a rousing round of applause by the entire congregation.
