As stunning as the 25-year-old nun singing Alecia Keys’ “No One” on “The Voice of Italy,” even more so was the reaction from the four judges when they turned around to see her.
Sr. Cristina Scuccia is a member of the Ursuline Sisters of the Holy Family and appeared on the reality show admittedly “to evangelize.”
Italian singers Raffaella Carra, J-Ax, Noemi, and Piero Pelu were judging the popular TV program, and were blown away when they saw the young girl behind the voice.
When asked, Sr. Cristina said, “Yes, I am truly, truly a sister.”
“I came here because I have a gift and I want to share that gift,” she said. “I am here to evangelize.”
Watch her incredible performance here, and if you understand Italian, her interview afterward.
