Fox’s Dana Perino is pushed to her limit; liberal co-host Beckel makes her snap

Foreign policy got so heated on the “The Five” on Tuesday that host Dana Perino had to nearly give herself a timeout to avoid exploding on liberal mouthpiece Bob Beckel.

Beckel was spouting the Obamaphiles’ current line that what happens in Crimea “is not a foreign policy decision by the United States, it’s a foreign policy decision by the Sov…. by Russia,” when Perino snapped.

“That’s incredible, Bob,” she said. “You take a different position on every issue, just depending on what it is. You would have never said that about Crimea before.”

Beckel then tried a different twist on the “blame Bush” tactic libs have used since 2008.

“What would Condi Rice do to get Crimea back?” Beckel asked.

“Did you not read anything that was written over the weekend?” Perino was flabbergasted and had to pause to get herself under control.

If really Beckel wanted to know what former Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice thought about the Crimean crisis he need only have read the March 7 Washington Post  to find out.

Beckel probably did read the column, but since Rice placed the blame for the current crisis squarely on President Obama and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, the liberal mind might have had trouble retaining it.

So he pretended he didn’t know what Perino was talking about.

Her frustration was understandable. Check it out here.
