Ted Cruz has ‘best response ever’ to shirtless, tattooed bad boy mystery posters of himself

Someone has been posting “bad boy” posters of Sen. Ted Cruz around Los Angeles in anticipation of his arrival to accept the Claremont Institute’s Statesmanship Award and deliver the keynote address at the organization’s annual Winston Churchill dinner.

The broadsides depict the Republican junior senator from Texas, shirtless, sporting a tattoo-covered torso and a cigarette hanging out of his mouth, along with the announcement, “Ted Cruz’s So Cal ‘Blacklisted & Loving It’ Tour” at the Beverly Hilton on March 15.

The posters didn’t go unnoticed, and Cruz posted a reply on his Facebook account:

I don’t smoke cigarettes.

If you’re a Twitter user, Cruz is a good one to follow; if you’re not, he’s as good reason as any to begin.
