Biden urges ‘too shy’ Dems not to ‘apologize for a single thing’

Vice President Joe Biden wants Democrats to be more aggressive about touting their accomplishments.

“My central message to you is, look, I think we should not apologize for a single thing,” he told the Democratic National Committee on Thursday, Fox News reported.

The vice president accused his colleagues of being “too shy” in promoting their agenda, urging the bevy of state leaders at the party’s winter meeting to actively pitch Obamacare.

“We are not speaking about it enough,” he said.

Biden also prodded party leaders to tackle the billionaire Koch brothers, according to ABC News.

“What we’re worried about is the Koch brothers and their friends bringing in millions and millions of dollars,” Biden said. “Money can’t buy an election when you’re selling a bad set of goods.”

“Think about what happens if we do not succeed in 2014,” he added, imploring Democrats to advocate priorities like the minimum-wage hike and rebuff Republican attacks.
