“Wheel of Fortune” host Pat Sajak, a rare Hollywood conservative, has made a habit of zinging President Obama on Twitter, and he got another brilliant shot in Friday while remembering George Washington‘s birthday.
Playing on the president’s false promise that you can keep your healthcare plan if you like it, Sajak tweeted:
“Ew!” Unladylike Michelle Obama freaks us
out again dancing with Jimmy Fallon
Happy birthday tomorrow, George Washington. Your father thought if he liked his cherry tree, he could keep it. Period.

Happy Birthday to George Washington, a man who could not tell a lie. Oops, excuse me…I mean, who could not misspeak.

Conservatives, who need little prodding to unleash heavy doses of snark at Obama, jumped at the chance to ply their trade, as captured by Twitchy:
@patsajak Ba-da BING! (As in cherry!) — Liberty Belle :) (@LibertyBelleCJL) February 21, 2014
@patsajak Did you chop down that cherry tree? GW: I cannot tell a lie BHO: I found out abt the tree like you did, when I saw it on the news. — theygonnalose (@theygonnalose) February 21, 2014
@patsajak His father didn’t grow that tree. Somebody else made that happen. — Travis Gracyalny (@supersimpson) February 22, 2014
@patsajak George was freeing the tree from the “job lock” of a life producing cherries, this allowed it to become firewood or furniture
