NBC is taking heat for an interview with Olympic skier Bode Miller after he took the bronze medal in the Sunday’s Super-G competition.
Reporter Christin Cooper pressed Miller about the loss of his brother, even after the skier emotionally broke into tears.
Fans took to Twitter to complain:
NBC reporter’s incessant pressing of Bode Miller about his brother: Unprofessional at best. Heartless and hard to watch.

Miller later tweeted these messages with thanks for the support:

My emotions were very raw, she asked the questions that every interviewer would have, pushing is part of it, she wasnt trying to cause pain.

While some thought the interview should not have aired, NBC released a statement which said: “We understand how some viewers thought the line of questioning went too far, but it was our judgment that his answers were a necessary part of the story,” according to Fox News.
