It is a little known fact that businesses in the budding legal marijuana industry provide home delivery of the weed sold in dispensaries. An option that allows users to order their intoxicant just as they would order a pizza for the inevitable munchies that come with getting stoned.
With the drug now legal in Washington and Colorado, home delivery is allowed in both states, according to Raw Story.
Massachusetts passed a law late last year legalizing medical marijuana, and dispensaries there are also “expected to make home deliveries,” Cape Cod Today reported.

Karen van Unen, executive director of the Mass. Department of Public Health medical marijuana program, said things have taken off like “rapid lightning.”
In a presentation to elected officials, van Unen said about 120,000 infirm patients are expected to use medical marijuana in the first two years.
And while Washington and Colorado offer home delivery service, concern remains high about a potential increase in dangerous marijuana-impaired driving.
NBC News reported on an analysis that suggests a growing trend:
As medical marijuana sales expanded into 20 states, legal weed was detected in the bodies of dead drivers three times more often during 2010 when compared to those who died behind the wheel in 1999, according to a new study from Columbia University published in the American Journal of Epidemiology.
Since California legalized medical marijuana in 2004, the state has experienced “marked increases in driver fatalities testing positive for marijuana,” Dr. Guohua Li said. “The trend suggests that marijuana is playing an increased role in fatal crashes.”
