Rumors of an affair between former President Bill Clinton and model Elizabeth Hurley took the Internet by storm Wednesday.
In an “exclusive” story, the supermarket tabloid “The Globe” reported that Clinton “carried on a torrid year-long love affair” with Hurley in 1998.
According to the article, published on RadarOnline.com, an audio recording exists of actor Tom Sizemore confessing that he arranged the “secret tryst” during a White House screening of the film “Saving Private Ryan.”

Sizemore had previously dated Hurley.
The supermodel took to Twitter to quickly deny the allegation, saying the “ludicrously silly stories” are “totally untrue.”
Ludicrously silly stories about me & Bill Clinton. Totally untrue. In the hands of my lawyers. Yawn.

Her denial prompted a lot of good-natured responses, indicating that few are taking the rumors seriously. One Twitter user even blamed it all on Bush!
@ElizabethHurley It was really George W. Bush, wasn’t it?
