Jay Leno took on the Denver Broncos less than stellar Super Bowl performance and the Obama administration all in the same joke in Monday night’s “Tonight Show” opening monologue.
The political zinger: “The team was so ineffective, today they were invited to join the Obama administration.”
“The ‘Puppy Bowl’ was more competitive,” Leno said of the Super Bowl.
“The last time I saw a Bronco going that slow, OJ was driving it through L.A.,” he added, for a predictable laugh.
