Perhaps the best way to change politics in Washington is to move the U.S. Capitol out of Washington. How about Nebraska?
Republican U.S. Senate candidate Ben Sasse suggests just that in a new campaign ad running during Monday’s BCS Championship football game between Florida State and Auburn.
“That’s it,” Sasse says in the ad. “The way to cure the incredible ineffectiveness and dysfunction of both parties in Washington? We move the Capitol to Nebraska and leave the lobbyists and influence peddlers behind. So Congress can experience family, conservative values and living within a budget.”
