Rush: ‘Do you know you can have a blizzard with no snow?’

Winter snowstorms in the Northeast have suddenly become breaking news in America, and talk radio kingpin Rush Limbaugh marveled over how “you can have a blizzard with no snow.”

And how anyone in New York City could have survived such a storm.

“What I need to know is…,” Limbaugh began on Friday’s show. “Folks, I’m just trying to get the lay of the land here, and nobody is answering my question. Did anybody survive in New York City?”

“That’s what I’m trying to find out,” he deadpanned. “There are survivors in New York City? There are people alive in New York City? Okay, that’s all I wanted to know. I was panicking.”

El Rushbo then turned his attention to the media’s coverage of the nor’easter, where “every waking moment is a panic and a crisis.”

“I’m watching the news about the blizzard,” he said. “Do you know you can have a blizzard with no snow now?  I got a drive-by weather babe claiming that. Who says you need snow for a blizzard?”

Saying he was happy to learn that folks in New York City did survive six to ten inches of snow, Limbaugh added: “Who would of thought people could survive that?  That’s unbelievable. Six to 10 inches, and people still live and breathe in New York City. Hallelujah! God bless!”

For the record, Limbaugh broadcasts out of a studio in Palm Beach, Florida.
