While Walmart is busy selling out of “Duck Dynasty” themed merchandise, Cracker Barrel is pulling some of its Robertson goods off the shelves .
ABC affiliate WJLA reported the following official statement from the company Friday evening and investigated local store activities in Manassas, Va.
“We continue to offer Duck Commander products in our stores. We removed selected products which we were concerned might offend some of our guests while we evaluate the situation. We continually evaluate the products we offer and will continue to do so.”
TMZ also reported America’s favorite country store has “become the first sponsor to cut bait with ‘Duck Dynasty’ . . . but not entirely:”
We called a bunch of Cracker Barrel stores, and the managers told us the products that were removed were the ones that had Phil’s face plastered on the packaging.
As for most of the remaining products … we’re told you can find them in the sale bin.
Meanwhile, some tweeters asked for more clarification from Cracker Barrel to verify the rumor they may only be targeting A&E merchandise.
Um… Cracker Barrel only pulled the Duck Dynasty merchandise, marketed by A&E. Still sells Robertson family’s own Duck Commander stuff.

But some aren’t waiting for clarification to push for a boycott. The facebook page Boycott Cracker Barrel in Support of Phil Robertson is up to almost 5,500 likes. Twitter has also begun to spread the word.
So @CrackerBarrel while you are evaluating whether to carry duck commander products, I will evaluate other restaurants. #anotherepicfail

Under Armour, one of the shows major sponsors, has also offered an official comment, according to WJLA:
“The recent comments in the GQ article are not reflective of Under Armour’s beliefs and do not represent our point of view,” claimed the company.
