“The power of one man” is how the newscaster summed up the actions of a potential victim in Seattle whose instincts drove him to fight back against all odds.
As the surveillance footage shows, a man identified as Trevonnte Brown, 19, brazenly robbed two passengers on a West Seattle bus of their belongings, then approached a man quietly listening to his iPod, according to KOMO News.
But when Brown pointed his handgun in the third passenger’s face, he bravely fought back, with others quickly joining in to help subdue Brown.

The passenger, later identified as Casey Morgan in an interview on NBC’s “Today,” said he acted on “pure instinct.”
“I just looked up and saw the gun and a lot of people thought it was a conscious action to try and take him down,” Morgan told host Savannah Guthrie.
“But it was something just pure instinct and I recall thinking as it was happening that this is a bad idea, but your body is still just going through the motions and once that happened it was one of those things where it had to be carried to the logical conclusion,” he continued.
Chris Briggs, who was robbed before his fellow passenger fought back, is one of the men seen on the video helping.
“Me and a couple of other guys all just kind of jumped at the same time to kind of tackle him,” Briggs told KOMO News. “People were kind of committed at that point.”
According to KOMO, Brown was charged with three counts of robbery and one count of attempted robbery, and could face 15 years in prison if convicted — he pleaded not guilty to all counts.
